Jesse was here this past weekend. We had a blast. On Saturday we went to the shore for a really long walk and a good lunch on the boardwalk. The weather was perfect and I almost succeeded with my white-girl sun protection plan. On Saturday night we headed for Mediterra for a fabulous dinner, complete with superb help from the manager for finding a yummy wine. We ended up with a corvino blend (which was a grape we had never heard of, but we're willing to learn!) from Italy and it went really well with our dinners. I forgot to take pictures of everything until it was almost too late. Here is a shot of dessert - mango-blueberry sorbet and chocolate gelato. YUM.

At first glance....why is she showing me liver, black olives and choc ice cream???? Something new on the dessert menu. We enjoyed take out chicky bbq from the firemen and a waffle on our way out of carnival grounds...mmmmmm
I'm there with MA and the liver, black olives and chocolate cake - yum!
