We went to the farm today and fetched a beautiful carload of food. In our allotment of fruits and veggies for the week, we were the recipients of one gigantic heirloom tomato. It was so big that when the watermelon rolled into it during the drive home, it only dented the tomato, it didn't actually destroy it. I wrestled with the tomato and tried to slice it to top our hamburgers for dinner. It was so weirdly shaped it didn't really work. But I tried. And it was still tasty. Here is a portion of it plated up for burger topping.
