The mouse has been eradicated. One peanut butter-filled mouse trap later, we caught the mother of all mice. This thing was huge. Even after living in 200 year-old buildings, my opinion is that this mouse was huge. I hate to think of all we've been feeding it out of our pantry...   We'll deploy the traps again tonight just to make sure this mouse was flying solo. In other house-selling news, we did discover that the comparable house that suddenly lowered its price a million percent is indeed owned by a corporate relocation company. We're hoping for a massive bidding war and that the losers then come crawling to us. Or we make peace with the fact that a fair price is lower than what we originally thought. We did buy this house to live in - not as a money-making venture.
