Sorry if Maia looks at this before she opens her present, but I am so excited about the t-shirt I bought for her birthday. Mafalda was a very popular comic strip in the 60's and 70's and her image is everywhere in Argentina. I guess I would compare it to Peanuts here. Mafalda is a less dark version of the little girl in Non Sequitor. But she is very concerned about world peace and she absolutely hates soup. Some of the funniest drawings of her is when she is faced with a bowl of soup.

Titi Deetz, you didn't spoil the surprise - and the Mafalda shirt totally rocks. Titi Nata and I totally wanted one for ourselves and Mafalda IS the (wo)man.
(ehem, I used to look like Mafalda in my early HS years)
I am a little upset that I don't quite fit into that shirt. So jealous. I may still have one or two Mafalda comic books. Sweet gift, Titi!
