día 10

Monday morning was a quiet one for me, so I slept in and chilled out while I waited for Mabel to get ready to head into the center of town. Once we got into town, she headed off to work and i headed off to a café to have some coffee. The waitess I had not only brought me coffee, but a shot-glass of juice as well. Gotta remember which café I was in..... After lunch with the cousins, I headed off to school, but it was not a good day in Spanish-land. It seems no matter how many times I study them, ser y estar screw me up royally. I´m pretty good with the basic rules, but the fine-tuning is killing me. Fortunately, it was a relatively short class because I was getting pretty grumpy. Although, I do have homework tonight.... I´m putting it off as long as possible..... maybe there is a snack in the kitchen..... After spanish class, we hopped in a cab and headed across town to our tango class! We had two amazing instructor and dancing with either one of them made everybody look good. Two beginners together, however....... But I have the pictures to prove that I was there and that I worked my fanny, or hips - those are what hurt, off for 90 minutes. I know the 8 basic steps, give or take a fancy move or two.....
