yes, you CAN back a semi into our street

Yesterday the moving truck showed up. And not only did it show up early, the driver very masterfully backed the truck into our street without blocking a single driveway other than ours. Anybody who knows our street knows what a miracle and true demonstration of skill that is. Seven hours after they started, the truck drove off with most of our possessions. We won't see those things for about a month - unfortunately there is quite a bit of time between the closing on our current house and the one we are buying. So, we're camping out with friends for a few days this week while we take care of the final cleaning of the house, lawyerly details, drinks with friends at our favorite watering holes, and packing up stuff from the city apartment. On that note, I'm off to the lawyer.
