weekend?

The house is under contract and we just put a bid on a house in our new town. I think I should be on pins and needles, but I'm just too tired. It's toward the end of the school year and we both have tons to do this weekend. It's also been a bit of a rough week because a close colleague of both of ours passed away. It's a weird phrase - close colleague. He wasn't a "close friend," but he was a boss, a colleague, and an awesomely real guy. Bob worked with him for far longer than I did, but we both have shared memories to such an extent that it's weird to think of him not being on this earth any longer. On that note, I think I'll head to bed.
