A rainy weekend that wasn't, then was. Saturday was supposed to be the terrible day. Except that it wasn't. This was good because Allison and I had made a lunch date for Saturday like, oh, say, four weeks ago. We were bound and determined to keep our date without kids and husbands (no offense anybody - really, we love you). But Saturday ended up being great. Well, not great, but perfectly walk-aroundable - kinda misty, like Niagara Falls. We cruised through the Princeton Art Museum. We both picked out the art and the Turkish bath that we'll install in our next house. Then we hit up some stores to find beads for some birthday party favors Allison wanted to make. Finally, it was time for lunch. Big Fish did us right. Afterwards we went to a few stores in Marketfair to see what we couldn't live without. I really wanted a pink CD player and Allison really wanted this shark costume.
