non-labor weekend

I had a busy weekend. Unfortunately, the funeral on Friday kind of set my mood for the next few days. Ann and Mark invited us to the beach on Saturday, which was exactly what I needed. Sunday was a bunch of nothing. But we did have the opportunity to head into the city on Monday to hang out with friends who were in town from Oakland for work. We went to the Rubin Museum. The art was phenomenal. The colors in 14th century Himalayan paintings on silk was incredible. Please look at the website. All of the pictures I took came out like garbage. I couldn't capture the colors....
