sea of humanity

On Sunday I did the Komen Race for the Cure in Central Park. We had entered as a team through work. Those of you on the East Coast know that Sunday was 92 degrees with 100% humidity. Fun times. It wasn't as bad in the park with shade and a little breeze. The insanity was the number of people participating. Someone asked me if I was planning to run the 5K, knowing that I sometimes run for exercise. There is no way I would run that race. There are just too many people and it's kind of dangerous. It's almost hard to walk without tripping over someone, their stroller, etc. So I walked it.

Looks like it would move in mass like an amoeba.......too many sweaty bodies per square mile....
