In for a penny, in for a pound. That's for sure. While I was away, Bobbie took 3 golf lessons. He's decided that he likes it. So much so that yesterday we headed off to buy some clubs for him. We now have two new spiffy bags and enough cheap golf balls to get us started. But when I called to get a Mercer County golf membership, Bob panicked..... So next week we'll head to Sodus to play with friendly natives before we head out on our own.

MA and i were trash-talking about having a yearly golf tourney [my secret plan behind MA's new driver]: boys vs girls. we might have to handicap the boys unless Tommy and Johnny handicap each other by swearing and throwing golf clubs. at least bob is not a redhead!
i like the idea of a Riker Scramble but when we win, i don't want the green jacket.

the boys will win, period
golf!!
if youre playing golf you need golf fashion. im thinking lacoste polos, plaid long shorts, and those scottish berets with the poofy balls of fluff on top. optional: tweed jackets.
love and hugs.
You will need to check out today's sports section (nytimes, natch) about cheating at golf! Look out holy pockets! Seriously, maybe you should rethink those cheap golf balls...
