fun with biology

Because I'm a ninth grade advisor, I accompanied the girls on their Biology-themed overnight. We did a lot of neat stuff, including visiting a wolf conservation center and going for a schooner ride on Long Island Sound. It was a little bittersweet because we were right across the sound from Northport - it's pretty obvious with the power plant stacks sticking up. It made me miss my grandfather. It was weird being in the sound looking at Long Island instead of standing on a bluff in Northport looking across at CT. But the weather was gorgeous and it was a perfect day for sailing, so I was happy.
