When I was up in Stamford earlier in the week, the girls did a salt marsh study. One of the biological critters that they found was this little jelly fish that looks exactly like clear slime.

jellyfish are really common in the waters around PR during what my mom calls the '-ber' months: (Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec) and they are a total pain - literally. We used to grab them with our hands (right side up) and dissect them the same way little kids dissect frogs or something... definitely cool but gross
