Bobbie and I benefited from a day off from work today. We slept in and went out for breakfast. Many thanks to Jenny and Ken for introducing us to our new favorite breakfast place. Today I had the "Spanish Continental" - two fried eggs on top of beans served with salsa and queso fresco along with some tortillas and plantains. YUM. Bob only ordered three things - bagel, chorizo, and a fruit platter. I think we had enough food. Just maybe. This afternoon we proclaimed ourselves ready for a real golf course. We are announcing to all that we did indeed play 9 holes at the Princeton course. Highlights include Bobbie getting on the green in two on a par four (no comment on the number of putts) and my ability to hit my 5-iron. We only lost two balls and for whatever reason my thumb decided to explode on the first tee. Who can explain this to me?? It was disgusting. Blood everywhere. I guess that's what golf towel is for.....

On a scale of 1 to 10, your golf grip should be a 4, according to our old instructor, Bob the hammer.
Stay loose!
