It is finally time for a little relaxation. Friday was the scene of a beautiful snowstorm in Manhattan. The picture above is what it looked like when I ran out of work early on Friday afternoon. Extra points for identifying the big building in the foto. What was a big snowstorm in New York turned into a giant rainstorm in Princeton. It was pretty darn gross, but it didn't keep up from going out for a really nice dinner to celebrate the beginning of Christmas break. Fortunately for us, the yucky weather kept the crowds away from the restaurant scene and we were able to enjoy a relatively quiet and leisurely dinner at Witherspoon Grill. Last night we had a scrumptious feast with the Misch-people. Everybody was home and fun was had by all. We had yummy cocktails (new recipe!), turkey and stuffing, and we finished the grand affair with molten lava cakes. They did not disappoint. See Five Hungry Girls if you want/need the recipe.

I'm guessing it's my fave museum in NYC - the Whitney... OOOhhh, the detailing is just beautifully delicate! And btw, you said 'fotos' not 'photos' - welcome to the dark side!
