day of rest?

What was supposed to be a day of relaxation on Wednesday went from "let's take a little walk" to hiking all over the place for the afternoon. So FINALLY yesterday we put our feet up, read a lot, and checked out the Ouray County Museum. LOVE this house we're renting! Not only can we walk to coffee and to dinner, we can walk to the museum! The museum was so cool. First of all, it's in a building that used to be a hospital until 1964. It had a lot of about the history of Ouray including an underground exhibit on mining and tons of mineral samples, many of which were radioactive I'm sure..... We got lured in the door by a local quilt show. The quilts were displayed amongst the exhibits and they looked great. There were many modern quilts along with a lot from the 1930s. We voted for our favorite - a contemporary quilt titled Funky Chicken.
