We've had a crazy week. Some stress was added by Dana having surgery on Thursday to fuse together and/or add a plate between C-something and something in her neck. Needless to say, even though her father was thrilled to hear about the x-ray in which she could see the six brand-new screws in her neck, I didn't sleep so well for a few days. Dana is now at home with the Iowa contingency looking after her.
We're off to see the Anthony family tonight. Believe it or not, the occasion is Christmas. Yes, it's embarrassing, but that's how long we've been trying to get together. I'm in the process of making dessert. I also found some x-mas flowers to bring along. Allison is going to make margaritas. I guess it's our new X-mas in May tradition.

Unfortunately our tree looks pretty pathetic at this point, but I can start playing the carols!
