Here is what I did today

• Got substitute teacher settled.
• Learned how to use vcr/dvd/computer/projector player in new room. (See above.)
• Told parent that kid with concussion needed to be home. Doing nothing. Period.
• Wrote letters to students on academic probation. 
• Had weekly meeting w/ supervisor.
• Ate snack.
• Told kid whose knee was bleeding-on-his-shoe-from-basketball-game-injury that he needed to see the trainer. Told him he was a "bio-hazard." Supervised fix-it job. Walked kid to class. Told other kid who caused the basketball foul to get through the day without causing more trouble.
• Had meeting w/ student on academic probation.
• Prepped for class.
• Helped figure out benefit basketball game to happen in January.
• Ate lunch.
• Supervised recess. Wore hat and mittens b/c it was cold. Yelled at kids tracking in mud.
• Met with another student on academic probation.
• Taught math to crazy 7th graders.
• Made some tea. Ate some m&m's. 
• Cleared kid w/ concussion for schoolwork tomorrow.
• Edited travel brochure for winter/spring trips.
• Re-taped knee of kid w/ basketball injury so he could participate in practice.
• Was told by a 6th grader that drink machine did not spit out drink properly. Looked at athletic director for support. 
• Went to gym to run in silence. By myself. Alone. Period.
