We had an amazing two weeks in Ouray. My mother was worried that we wouldn't be able to come back to real life after being in a mountain paradise for two whole weeks and she might be right. I'm in the process of uploading pictures so I won't get into all of the stories right now. But I will tell you that I had a bit of an anxiety attack landing at the Grand Junction airport. Let's just say that the pilot had to FLY us down instead of gliding in like you do at Newark or Philly or just about anywhere else. You come zooming over the mountains and then pretty much drop out of the sky. I could appreciate it much more once I was firmly on the ground. The photo is what greets you at GJT.
