It's just as I've always suspected. The sleigh thing is a bunch of crap. Santa really arrives via fire truck, with firemen as his elves. Every year our town fire hall puts on a big show of riding through every street and spreading Christmas cheer. I finally caught it on camera.

Makes sense to me. At least there is a fire truck in every town which makes the odds of Santa getting around even better.
This is how he arrives each year in Pottersville, too. I'm always thankful for consistencies in Santa matters. Like discovering that Santa's gifts are wrapped in paper with his picture in them in other households beside our own. Alas, the Tooth Fairy seems to be pretty erratic...
