I visited the post office today, to try to figure out how to mail stuff to an APO address. I got the right guy behind the counter! He totally helped me out - told me how to fill out the customs form and slid the form into the impossibly tight plastic sleeve. Then I realize that he has an AF patch at his window. It turns out he used to be in the air force (something to do with missiles, but I can't remember what) and I told him that I was mailing something to someone in the air force. He told me that I should always go to HIS window and not the next guy's. I guess the next guy down used to be in the army......
