Jesse is here for the weekend, so we needed to go on a little food tour of New York City. Our first stop was Zabar's. We were wowed by everything, but especially the cheese and the housewares. I was sorry that I didn't bring a cooler with me, because there was "no wait at the smoked fish counter." We almost came home with a new espresso maker..... until we went to Ninth Street Espresso, way down in the East Village over on Avenue C. http://ninthstreetespresso.com/ The cappuccino was the best EVER. We're in love and definitely going back.
